when i switch my tom tom 1 on the screen shows to put mem card in when i do this it shows a red cross as wrongwhen i put memory card in, it shows the memory card with a red cross through it as if its wrong, plz help need 2 use it 2orrow thanking u.

Your Tom Tom isn't able to read the card.

Rub the contacts of the memory card with a pencil eraser to clean them. Wipe with a paper towel & try it.

If it still doesn't work try another memory card.
