my garman nuvi gps gives me a message "no such location" when entering the first letter in the address for the?state/providence. it used to work fine before taking it out of state. is there a setting on it so i can enter an address for the state of oh?

Hit "Where to?" and select "Address". It should prompt you for state, city, street number, and street name.

If you have done that and it still can't find the destination, you may need to download a newer map from Garmin. I believe they allow you one free update.
