will my magellan triton 200 gps work in an airplane?I received a magellan triton 200 gps as a gift, I Fly ultralight airplanes as a hobbie. Will the device function correctly in the air as well as the ground?

idts, b/c it may interfere with communication...cause when i went to hawaii, tried a garmin nuvi , and it didnt really work in some spots

Yes, you could but If you have a really small light airplane then i wouldn't recommended it. If a big one you could try.

Perhaps, since it receives the signal from space. The only thing that I would say is that it will tell you to go places by following roads, and it will do things according to traffic and speed limits, and you're in the air. Also, it could interfere with the equipment, and WHY can't you just use the built in AIR gps?
