Are there any GPS units/brands that are good or at least work correctly?

These are useful and collceted by googps!

Are there any GPS units/brands that are good or at least work correctly?I have had 2 Garmins that died, I had a Magellan that showed my car a block from where it really was at all times, and now my brand new TomTom that is supposed to have Lifetime Maps tells me that it does not support LifeTime Maps so I was ripped off. TomTom and Garmin product support are no help since they can't fix anything. Are there any brands that work correctly or should I go back to printing out Google maps?

the BEST civilian GPS receiver is made by Garmin.

If you have had two Garmins die, Garmin has a great tech support. Call them, get the RMA, and send them back for repair.

I cannot imagine what you are doing to kill them....
