How do I change my vehicle on my GPS?

How do I change my vehicle on my GPS?I have new GPS, Garmin streetpilot c330. ON their website, I see that you can download other vehicles to use, but when I download it is only downloading to my computer and not to the GPS. How do I acutally get them on the GPS? Step by step please.
The GPS is connected to my computer, but how to I transfer from my computer to GPS. When i open my computer icon, don't see the GPS there to send to.

you have to actually connect the GPS to your computer using a port connection and download FROM your computer to GPS.

I just did this.
1. You must connect the device to the computer the software will look to find the type of device that you have.
2.Once you have downloaded the software a screen will pop up looking for your device, then you click the find button. Your garmin will show in the box below the find button.
3. accept the software and it will download.
4. After that there will be additional downloads that you can choose from such as different vehicles, different color trucks and motorcycles etc. Just put a check mark next to the ones you want.
5. After downloading the updates you want click the icon in the bottom right of your screen to safely remove the hardware (mine looks like a box with a green arrow above it)
6. After the screen says safe to remove hardware, disconnect your garmin
7. Turn on your garmin it will update and this will take a few minues.
8. click on the wrench symbol on your garmin screen
9. Choose navigation
10 choose vehicle (your choices will be here)
I just updated my software, i have a 360 so may be slightly different, I did not choose a new vehicle just the basic updates and bluetooth

Shut down your computer and reboot it. After it comes up connect your gps, wait until it connects may take a few minutes, go to "my computer" and look for it there to make sure it is there, then open up the web updater that you installed, it should then find your unit. good luck

Looking at the garmin vehicles page, and the c330 manual, I don't think you can change the vehicle. On the vehicle page, it only references the Nuvi, Zumo, c510, c530, c550, c580 as being supported. :(
