How is the geomate Jr for geocaching and what is the best cheaper GPS system for geocaching?

It seems like an over-simplified device intended for children, and not worth considering. Pre-loaded with 250000 caches? What caches and where are they located? Although none of my GPS units will hold 250000 caches, I routinely load all the caches of interest in my home area or the areas that I'm traveling to or through so I know I have the latest info available. I would suggest any of the lower end Garmin eTrex series (there are several models to choose from). Just be sure whatever you buy supports USB data transfer from your computer - entering hundreds of coordinates manually is not what you want to be doing.
