I'm a college student buying a GPS for the first time. What GPS system would you reccomend for me?I go to college about two hours away from home, so I need to get a GPS to help me navigate through the surrounding areas. I would like to pay around $ 100, but would be willing to pay a little more for the right GPS. What are some suggestions?

All GPS systems get their position information from the same satellites. I'd look for an entry level system from either TomTom or Garmin. These can be had for as low as $ 60 or $ 70. I own several from each manufacturer and they all get the job done although neither brand is perfect at calculating specific addresses 100% of the time. For more money you get additioal features such as a wider screens and spoken street names but the basic accuracy and maps remain the same.
