Should I delete my GPS update software?I have a Garmin and a few months ago it has a 2009 update that I needed 2 put on it well I downloaded the Update software it was 1GB! and sent it 2 my GPS well that update is still on my laptop and I am scared 2 delete it would it effect my gps if I did when I hooked it up 2 my pc?

You will be just fine. Each update (which you already sent to the Garmin) is its own update. They are not contingent upon one another for subsequent updates. Delete as you wish.
