What is your favorite GPS and why? Trying to figure this out?I have been looking at GPS units recently. I ended up buying the Garmin 785t and quickly found out that MSN services are canceled effective Jan 2012 so I want to make sure that I'm making a purchase that is going to last me some time. I see the global internet with gps is starting to take off and some even connect to the net through your phones bluetooth for more options. To much to take in
What is your favorite GPS unit and why? Obviously everyone has their own opinions, have had issues with one or more and probably still have dislikes about the GPS that is also the greatest to them. I'm just curious what I should look for. I've read good and bad reviews on just about every brand, make and model. The internet can make purchases a pain in the a$ $ if you ask me, so many options and so much information.
Here is what I'm mostly looking for:
Of course US maps
POI installed and the ability to install more with ease
Lane assist (figured this out when a friend made a wrong turn on the interstate by accident)
Basic ease of use, the last thing I want to do while driving is trying to flick through a million screens

For my birthday in october, I recieved the Garmin Nuvi. It will take you around wrecks and traffic within 5 minutes of them happening. It works most everywhere, though it has some issues in Georgia around the Dalton/ Chatsworth area. Otherwise, it is amazing. The Nuvi is the best GPS I have ever had.
