my tom tom GPS device is no longer recognized by my computer?I can't update it & followed troubleshooting instructions to the letter I reset the device & still can't get the computer to recognize it
"Do you want to connect to the computer " MSG comes up I answer yes computer says "Found new hardware " then "unknown device " then " the USB device malfunctioned & window does not recognize it " & brings it up as unknown device & I go through Windows trouble shooting suggestions to no avail I'm my screwed & have to buy another one ??please help .The company's web site is hopeless
This thing was bought from the net Amazon.com 3years ago it's out of warranty
