Which GPS system is better: the NAVIGON 2100 Portable GPS or the TomTom ONE 3rd Edition?

Which GPS system is better: the NAVIGON 2100 Portable GPS or the TomTom ONE 3rd Edition?I have been researching GPS systems for my car, and the most popular are the Navigon 2100 and the TomTom One 3rd Edition: http://www.buzzillions.com/gps-devices-reviews

Both got both good and bad reviews, so I'm stuck between the two. Any opinions?

TomTom One 3rd edition, It's the best GPS in it's price range, you can find it on sale at $ 150. It has the latest maps from TomTom and is fast and accurate with download able points of interest and voice that make it fun to use.

Garmin is #1 in GPS in the USA, and Tom Tom is #2, the reason is they are better than the other brands out there.

I have the TomTom one 3rd edition. So far, no problems whatsoever. It is very accurate. I did almost buy the Navigon, however, because its a new brand, I didn't want to buy it because I am always wary of brand new Brands. The only reason I even considered it was because of the price and the look of it. It is very nice looking. AND, the navigon has something that the Tomtom doesn't. It has voice to speech, which is actually a very useful tool. Basically, the Tomtom will tell you to 'turn left on bla bla Street'. But the Navigon will actually say 'Turn left on Middle St'. So it will actually speak the name as well and its nice if you are driving by yourself and don't have to look at the screen all the time. BUT I still ended up choosing the tomtom because we got a great deal on it and have used one before on a trip and the brand is more well known and more people have used it.

BTW, if you choose the Navigon, get it for under $ 150. If you pay any more, then you are being ripped off, because I have seen it for $ 120 at Staples. Same thing as the TomTom. We got ours online at Circuit City for $ 150. Everywhere else its over $ 220.

Bottom line: If you want the voice to speech and a pretty look, get the navigon.
If you want something definitely reliable and well-known, get the Tomtom.
