It looks rock solid to me and a geat price if that's the model you want. SiRF III, NAVTEQ maps...you have to spend $ 500 on a Garmin Nuvi 350 to get anything close to that. In GPS its all about the maps in my opinion. TomTom fails in the US as they don't use NAVTEQ maps. I may buy one of those myself.
