Does anyone prefer TomToms to Garmin nuvi's?I have a Garmin nuvi 350 and i liked it until it tells me it needs a map update and the update freaking cost $ 70.00 and I can get a new one for almost that price. I hear that TomTom's map updates are a heck of a lot cheaper being $ 40 instead of $ 70 and there are four new map updates every year. But overall, does TomTom match up with Garmin as far as its directions and its functionality and everything like that. Give me reasons why Garmin is better than tomtom or tomtom is better than Garmin

I've had both, but I really like the Garmin better. It gave me more details to choose from. And a lot less confusing for me.
