Q&A: Buying the Magellan Maestro GPS 4040?

Buying the Magellan Maestro GPS 4040?I am getting my license next month, and I thought getting a Magellan would be a great idea.

I used one before and I absolutely fell in love! I was in a different city and I was craving Ben & Jerry's, Lo and behold! It got me to one in just 10 minutes.

But I was just wondering, is this a good purchase? I can get one for $ 200.00 on Amazon.
