what type/brand of GPS system does UPS use?I am trying to find the top GPS navigation tool, for my new company that is like UPS, and I really would like to know what they are using because I know this is what makes them very successful.

Order something through UPS and ask the driver :-)
Seriously, track delivery is only a very small part of UPS. There is far more going in UPS than having a good GPS!

Well as far as GPS for the drivers to find addresses.... There isnt any its all area knowledge. The drivers know the area from delivering there. Dont know if this was what you were asking about or not. We do not use any GPS to find addresses sorry.

Where they do use GPS, it is most likely "industrial" GPS from companies sch as Delorme, Garmin, or Magellan.
From what I have seen of tracking though it is based on bar code scanning and huge computer systems that track where (what facility) it has been scanned, not where particular packages are in transit, beyond being marked as "in transit".
